The Monograph in hand is constituted by two parts and aims at presenting an important issue in world politics. It particularly examines the problem of hegemony and international society, by using historical facts from the Antiquity till the contemporary era, and aims at proving the necessity of building in the 21st century a new model of international politics and international legality. The issue doesn`t concern only the role of the so called superpowers or great powers in world politics (USA), but also regional and local levels of international politics. In this sense in our Monograph we refer to the Greek - Turkish relations, since they play a crucial role in European geopolitics.
